I have finally figured out how to get started on this online diary. I'm hoping that this will become a good outlet for us to post new photos of Logan and Carter and a place to post the latest news of what is going on with us.
Well as many of you know, we decided a month ago that I would quit my job and stay home with Logan and Carter full time instead of them going to daycare. This is the first full time week since Sarah has returned to work after maternity leave. Last week was technically the first week but for her first week, she only did half days so she could get back into the groove.
This was a great transition for both Sarah and I, and a nice time for all of us to spend some time as a new family of four. After the first week we I really began to notice that I was getting back to myself again. The job that I was doing for Bugbee Insulation was a great challenge for me and I did enjoy the freedom and challenge of it all, but I realized that I was committed to the job too much and when I was home, I was still thinking about what had gone on that day and what was needed to be done the next day to finish it or to fix the problems. Because of this, I wasn't sleeping well and was constantly elsewhere in my mind. I wasn't fully at home, where I was needed most. Sarah and I both were happy to discover this and welcomed back my old self. I feel most days that I'm just as busy taking care of two children under the age of three as I was with running the insulation company, but now I get to see my boys so much more and Sarah and I are much happier with our time together.
Now I get to spend more time with both of the boys than I ever did with just Logan. As the days go on I get to enjoy a bond with Carter that I never got with Logan when he was 3 months old. On the other hand Logan is such a little man now with so many new thoughts running through his mind, I'm happy that I'm home full time just so I can tell Sarah all the hilarious things that he has done that day so she doesn't miss it all. If the boys were going to daycare still, these things would all be lost with the other children.
I'll get some photos of the family up in a day or two, when I figure out how. It's fighting me right now. Good night.

Ryan, stop wasting Sarah's time with this typing, and get back to scrubbing the toilets, cleaning the kitchen, and preparing dinner.
